Supervisory Relationship:
Responsible to the Crisis Stabilization Program Director Summary Duties/
Responsibilities:
Supervise day treatment staff ensuring quality services.
Provide therapeutic behavior management and skill building to client in the program.
Focus will be on achieving developmentally appropriate goals to reintegrate the client back into school.
Actively participate in the development of Person-Centered Plans in conjunction with DT staff, Crisis program staff, school personnel, social services professionals, assigned client(s) and their guardians.
Ensure adherence to Evidence based therapy model's being implemented in the classroom.
Educate crisis program staff and guardians regarding progress of client.
Work with assigned clients in the development of new coping, problem solving, and communication skills at age-appropriate levels.
Create MH curriculum for day treatment programming and daily schedules, alongside LP and Director.
Complete and maintain up-to-date client records according to YHS standards and prepare the necessary reports and file the client documents in a timely and accurate manner Ensure timely documentation of client notes according to regulations.
Review and approve all notes in electronic health record Other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum bachelor's degree in a human services field and two years of experience with the population served or bachelor's degree in a non-human field with four years of experience with the population served.
Must be organized and able to track spreadsheets to ensure all trainings are completed timely.
Must possess people skills and be able to relate to co-workers in a positive manner.
Must have a positive outlook on both agencies and services provided.
