Serves as a working lead supervisor coordinating activities of workers or service employees engaged in food operations or services.
Assists in ensuring a safe working environment throughout the facility for all employees.
Assists in monitoring employee productivity and provides suggestions for increased service or productivity.
Assists in the supervision of day to day activities of subordinates and assigns responsibility for specific work or functional activities.
Orients and trains employees.
Performs day to day assignments in addition to lead duties.
Works with customers to ensure satisfaction in such areas as quality, service and problem resolution.

?Initiative oAbility to Make timely decisions oAbility to complete all duties without reminders ?Dependability oTakes ownership of work and consistently ensures its completed accurately, efficiently and on time oTakes pro-active steps to avoid problems and mistakes oDemonstrates the ability to prioritize activities or tasks ?Opening the Cafeteria oFollow Opening Checklist oMaking sure that all signs are in place oMaking sure all sign holders are clean oMaking sure that all food is presentable oMaking sure the display plates are in place and look appetizing ?Closing the Cafeteria oFollow Closing Checklist oMaking sure that all signs are down and placed into folder oMaking sure all sign holders are clean oMaking sure that all display plates are taken up oMaking sure that all trash has been pulled oMaking sure that the Cafeteria/Atrium is ready to open in the morning ?Sanitation oMaintains sanitation standards by department ?Cash Handling oAbility to cash out cashiers and monitor overages and shortages oAbility to monitor the safe and balance the change fund oAbility to conduct Cash Audits ?Other Duties oSchedule Staff oAbility to Flex Up or Down according to census and business in the cafeteria oAbility to work all Hourly Staff Positions oConsistently holds Pre-Service Line Meetings daily oAttends Supervisor/Manager leadership classes or meetings to improve skills oAbility to interview and screen applicants for job positions
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Required
Experience:
2 years Food Service Supervisory experience, Preferred LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED PREFERRED ServeSafe certification preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
