Talent Pool - Administrative & Clerical To serve as a resource for our guests who are visiting patients.
Direct and inform guests of the visitation rules and regulations using computer systems.
Greet and acknowledge each guest.
Work with volunteers to communicate visitation information.
Assist guests with physical and emotional needs during their visit.
The following is the schedule for this position.
Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 3pm - 8pm.
The following week the schedule would be Monday & Tuesday 3pm - 8pm and Saturday and Sunday 7am - 8pm and then reversing it each week after.
Responsibilities:
Assists department coordinator/director with special projects.
Assists guests with physical needs by ensuring appropriate transportation is available when needed.
Communicates with guests regarding the hospital visitation policy.
Provides information to guests regarding number of visitors permitted to the inpatient areas and guest visitation times.
Provides directions to patient rooms or other requested areas in the hospital.
Communicates with security and coordinator/director regarding security concerns and needs.
Establishes rapport with guests.
Presents a personal, friendly, and empathetic manner to guests.
Supports guests emotionally.
Maintains good interdepartmental working relationships.
Cooperative, positive, and professional in interactions with others.
Communicates professionally and diplomatically with staff at all times.
Recognizes patients and guests who might need language interpreters, sign language interpreters, or assistance from Spiritual care and responds appropriately.
Recognizes quality of care issues and directs individuals to appropriate department to investigate and work toward a resolution.
Serves as a resource for our volunteers and medical staff.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION:
Required:
High school diploma Preferred:
One to two years of formal education beyond high school.
Experience:
Required:
One to two years customer service experience.
Preferred:
Three to five years customer service experience preferred.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING:
REQUIRED PREFERRED.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
