The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining a general ledger and financial accounts.

Requirements of the Accounting Clerk Associate's Degree with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
Knowledge of GAAP and bookkeeping best practices.
Ability communicate efficiently and effectively verbally and in writing.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.
Attention to detail and ability to focus.
Problem solving skills and Critical Thinking.
Ability to multi-task in fast paced environments.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Proficient with an adding machine (10-key touch), scanner and other office equipment.
Proficient level user of Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Time Management Skills.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk Reconciles various bank accounts and maintains check register.
Enters vendor invoices and credit memo.
Pays vendors via ACH, online websites or manual check.
Reconciles vendor statements and maintains vendor accounts, W9, Credit Memo.
Prepares various monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings accordingly.
Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for the General Manager, Shareholder, and the CPA.
Calculates payroll hours weekly.
Track and maintain employee vacation and benefit enrollment.
Assists others in accounting department as needed.
Provides back-up to the sales team as needed.
Maintains company files in an orderly and compliant fashion.
