We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist and Inside Sales Coordinator to maintain our financial records, including, sales order and credit memos processing, cash receipts posting and as well as working closely with our accounting team to create and analyze financial reports to ensure legal requirements and compliance related to accounts receivable.
In addition, this role will be the managing coordinator for the inside sales team.
They will serve as liaison to key customers and company leadership to ensure all elements of order to cash processing and customer relations are managed timely and professionally.
Our ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree in accounting or business administration depending on experience.
The ideal candidate will be familiar with accounting software packages, like Microsoft Navision, Microsoft Great Plains or Quick books or other comparable platforms.
Ultimately, the responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions of our company and grow in the role quickly to take over roles and responsibilities in our dynamic and growing Finance department.
Additional abilities will include strong interpersonal and communication skills with key customers, inside sales team and other team members to ensure a customer-based approach to the organizations accounts receivable and sales order processing.
Responsibilities:
Daily/Weekly processing of Accounts Receivable and general ledger postings.
Prepares cash receipt vouchers, bank deposits, and reconciles bank statements as needed Assist with managing the Inside Sales function for complete daily processing of key inside sales functions and reporting on leading sales/receivable metrics.
Credit processing Assist Accounting Manager with month-end closing duties, reports and analysis Work on special projects and assignments as needed Skills:
Strong skills in accounting, reporting, and managing financial records and transactions Strong attention to detail and the ability to process cyclical accounting transactions in a complete, orderly, and accurate fashion.
Proficiency in MS Office especially MS Office Excel Customer Service oriented and the ability to manage time and deadlines Position Requirements:
4-year bachelor's degree in in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration and 3-5 years' experience in customer service and/or accounts receivable.
Will consider candidates with other commensurate levels of education and work experience.
